May 7th marked three years together. In that time we have lived in three different countries, four different apartments (plus many stints with family in between) and grown closer as a couple.
Being married to a medical student can be a roller coaster. But I am glad that I get to take that ride with someone who loves me so much.
After a long weekend, Tuesday was a crazy day for both of us. A long day at the hospital ended with both our traditional eggs benedict anniversary meal – and more work to do.
I think after three years, I finally found a good recipe and this year’s creation was pretty darn good. Here’s the link to the recipe. For anyone who knows me and my *love* of cooking (cough cough sarcasm), this complicated recipe is a true labor of love.
Another tradition is to try on my wedding dress every year to see if I still fit. The impending arrival of a little munchkin made this year’s attempt slightly comical.
