How ya likin’ Pokey?
So, raise your hands. How many of my friends thought that I’d end up settling in Pocatello, Idaho? Let me tell you, I never would’ve guessed. I get asked fairly often (probably just to make conversation) how I am liking Pocatello. As I am ever-willing to over-answer a simple question here’s a full-on blog post. … Continue reading
Saturday hike day
Explored a couple of nature trails in the Caribou National Forest today.
Vroom vroom
We used one of those obnoxiously large race car carts grocery shopping the other day. Although it was awkward to maneuver, the kiddo was just so darn cute in it!

A life-changing decision
I’ve been trying recently to craft a beautiful and eloquent blog post on my struggle to balance career and motherhood. So for (part) of his graduation gift we choked down the ticket price for the Times Square Discovery Museum and took a peek. It was stunning. Nathan … Continue reading
Graduation adventures in NYC
On a steamy New York City summer day, a little blonde-haired boy took a bite out of the big apple. Literally. Our first night in, we walked down to Times Square where Grandpa Glenn procured this kitchy big stuffed apple from the Toys R Us store. It was cute, cheap and amused Sawyer for hours. … Continue reading
The Shiner
We’ve yet to catch them on camera, but our baby boy has taken his first hobbles. His coordination is horrible. And he is, by nature, fearless. So we are gonna get a few of these. Maybe I’ll just get him a shirt that says, “you should see the other guy.” 😉
